Summer Program

Ross Educational Consulting offers summer instruction for students from Kindergarten through college. Our programs are ideal for students with a diagnosed learning difference or for any student who is struggling in school. Pre- and post-informal assessments are used to monitor progress and ensure targeted growth.

All sessions are one-on-one, individualized to meet the needs of each student, and can be conducted in person or via Zoom.

Intensives

Our Summer Intensives provide focused, structured instruction for students who benefit from concentrated learning:

  • 15 sessions over 3 weeks, 2 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Morning sessions, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule
  • Tailored instruction in areas including:

> Phonological awareness & decoding

> Reading comprehension & fluency

> Spelling & vocabulary

> Written expression & handwriting

> Mathematics, organization, & study skills

> Self-esteem & executive functioning

These intensives use multi-sensory, research-based programs such as Orton-Gillingham, LindaMood-Bell, Handwriting Without Tears, and Making Math Real, creating a prescriptive plan for each student.

Testimonials

Parent

During grammar school, my child was tutored by Michelle Ross for several years. Michelle took the time to build a rapport with her which made her feel at ease. My daughter’s reading skills improved with Michelle’s help. I would highly recommend Michelle because she was very professional, reliable and has shown great expertise in her field.

Erik & W. Liu R.

Over a period of 3 years from 6th to 9th grade, Michelle helped our son Lukas go from a struggling C student who needed daily support and supervision to a solid B student able to work completely independently. She really helped Lukas focus and organize himself, and gave him the tools he needed to succeed on his own. We are very grateful for all the work she did, and we highly recommend her to any parent looking for assistance in supporting their children to overcome learning difficulties.
